The role of making waves in the theory:

Measurement Assistant Rachel Cannon who reminded me of a previous theory when I had forgotten it and who passed my current theory to Mr. Stamp for me.

The Measurement Assistant who I had the privilege to work with (I cannot remember his name, it might be John Beresford) who said that in his opinion the answer to the Universe was 1 + 1 = 2, I did not agree with him at the time but it influenced my thinking. What I ended up with was very similar (he might have said it was the Complex Plane, if he did I think he was right).

Measurement Assistant Robina (Robin) Dunnicliffe who reminded me of my theory when I seemingly forgot it.

All the many people who had the same explanation for Zero (0), One (1), the Complex Plane and the Universe.

St. Bede's Engineering Drawing Teacher, Mr. Thorpe, who in 1975 advised me to do Mathematics 'A' level instead of Engineering Drawing 'A' level.

This theory is a personal view originating from 14:00 pm on Tuesday the 22/02/1977, Mr. Colgan's Maths Class, St. Bede's Grammar School, Highgate, Heaton, Bradford, West Yorkshire, to the present day (47 years).

The theory was written up in May 1988 for St. Bede's Maths Teacher, Mr. Stamp, through Rachel Cannon, when I was a Measurement Assistant (1987 - 1988) at Bradford Metropolitan Council, Metrochange House, Hall Ings, Bradford, West Yorkshire.

The theory came to light through Mr. Stamp in 1993/1994 when I was a Mathematics Student (1992 - 1994) at Bradford University, Richmond Road, Bradford, West Yorkshire.

According to Mrs. Lavery, Mrs. Wheelan or Mrs. Brown (I think it was Mrs. Brown) you can read multiplication by 'x' and '*' as 'of' in order to help understand it and make sense of it; Mrs. Lavery, My Teacher (1969 - 1970), St. Walburga's Primary School, Farfield Road, Shipley, West Yorkshire.

This site is dedicated to St. Bede's Maths Teacher, Mr. O'Connor whose enthusiasm for the subject of Mathematics never ceased to amaze me.

In honor of my parents who made it all possible; my Mother, Marjorie Kettlewell who was mathematically minded but did not do angles at school; my Father, William Kettlewell who was intelligent but could not afford to go to Grammar School and my Brother, Paul Kettlewell who chose not to do 'A' levels.

I first encountered Mathematics without numbers (Algebra) when I was a Secondary School Pupil (1970 - 1972) at Cottingley Manor Secondary School, Cottingley Road, Bingley, West Yorkshire.

A neighbour, Barbara Mercer who gave me a travel alarm clock for my 18th birthday the day before, which set me thinking the following day.

Measurement Assistants, Graham Lloyd, Robina (Robin) Dunnicliffe and Rachel Cannon who helped me by witnessing some designs of mine (a kite design in particular).

Biology Student Jane Onions who helped me with my Mathematics when I was a Physics Student (1988) at Queen Mary College, University of London, Mile End Road, Stepney Green, London.

If this theory is correct it is for the benefit of the human race but not forgetting our furry friends, our feathered friends, our fishy friends, our scaly friends, our invertebrate friends and last but not least our creepy crawly friends.

That concludes the role of making waves in the theory.
